ELKA 22 (Elca) vintage calculator
Used as many as possible original parts for the repair, however there are few brand new. Front label and label on slider 2/4 are recreated, poweron/off (red/green) original. Missing original screws at the bottom, power cable replaced as original one was too hard to bend. All boards checked one by one and repaired if needed. Gold plated boards and connectors. Small issues on few nixies (red laquer is peeled off partially - seen on photos). Top cover yellowed by UV light, but looks good. Original color of the plastic can be seen inside.
Overall very good condition, great piece for collection and demo how calculation was performed (not the logic as today). Comes with reprint of original manual in Bulgarian language, but formulas and way of calculation is understandable. Can be translated by online translators. Missing original product tag with serial number, but according to chassis and electronics suppose to be produced probably in 1972 or very early 1973. Next generation (1973) have smaller, white nixies.
Why stated 22M if there is 22 on the label? All Elka 22 till serial 63 000 are with metal base and reversed boards. Every board have sequence letter - A, B, C, etc. REMARK - Calculator is working, checked and repaired.
