Vintage 1940 Underwood Champion Typewriter

Underwood Typewriter Company was founded in 1895 by John T. The Underwood Typewriter Company was one of the most well-known names in typewriter manufacturing for over 70 years. They set the standard for keyboard functionality, typebar design, and front stroke visible typing. Scott Fitzgerald, William Faulkner, Jack Kerouac, and Robert E. Howard all used Underwood typewriters to pen their famous works.

This "G" Model Champion Typemaster. Underwood typewriter is from 1940 based on its serial number. It appears to be in good working condition but has not been tested extensively. There is a crack on the back (pictured) that does not affect its function.
